Either Schlumpf must have used a modified DBC or SQL-data when investigating the fields, or the DBC actually varies between different locale-versions of the files (which I seriosuly doubt). The full mapping from the DBC is 55 fields, this is on a en_US client, and the locale-references are located on field 49 and 51 (which references the id). I've corrected this to reflect the en_US (12340) client. Also, removing the information for field2, which is the original AND correct method to detect timeskew is not a good thing - that actually explains the whole DBC and how it works on the specific "timescheduler" informed of in field 53.

And I also want to ask where he got the information about "region" and "looping" from, those fields are basically nowhere to be found (still investigating this).

  • While I don't remember what I did years ago, I guess it was derived from client code, such as the lua API, explaining region & looping without further information. locale references being off is odd, but I have no idea how that happened. --Schlumpf 10:20, 20 February 2013 (UTC)
